Herdays Café is a refreshing new concept in the heart of Kirkby-in-Ashfield, offering a welcoming space where wholesome living meets timeless design. Specialising in nourishing acai bowls, vibrant matcha blends, smoothies, and laid-back brunch offerings, the vision for Herdays is rooted in wellness, inclusivity, and connection.

The design direction embraces an organic and natural aesthetic, using soft textures, natural tones intertwined with the branding’s pink and greens, limewashed surfaces, and evergreen materials to create a calming, feel-good atmosphere for everyone. The space, including a thoughtfully designed café and accessible bathroom, is intended to be a gentle daily ritual that invites guests of all ages and backgrounds to relax, refuel, and feel at home.

Simran Design was hired to offer design direction, consultation services, and sourcing services. We advised on the branding colour scheme and how this translated into the 3D space via materials and paint colours. We also sourced materials, lighting, loose furniture and accessories in the main cafe and washroom, including dining chairs, benches, tables, pendant lights, cushions and accessories, tiles, and wall decor.
