1. Meet the Faces Behind Simran Design
I’m Simran, the founder and creative director of Simran Design Ltd - a boutique interior design studio based in Leicester. With a background in textile design, I’m driven by the transformative power of interiors. I love the challenge of translating a brand’s identity into a space that not only looks beautiful but also functions seamlessly for the people who use it.
Shreya, our interior designer, specialises in CAD floor plans, technical drawings and creates stunning renders that bring our vision to life.
We work with ambitious businesses to offer bespoke concept-to-completion commercial interior design across the Midlands and remote commercial interior design internationally.
2. A Snapshot of Our Recent Projects
Working across offices, hospitality and wellness spaces, here’s a glimpse into some of the work we’ve been proud to lead recently:
Games Room, Lounge + Bar
A vintage inspired Leicester-based project where we transformed a storage space into a cosy games room / lounge / coffee bar and dining space with a rich, timeless palette. Check out our renders vs final photography!
Workspaces in Dubai
Entirely remotely, we designed a bold yet minimal space with custom joinery, a glass-walled boardroom, a seating area and a 14-person workspace for a high-growth international team in Dubai's Business District.
Salon in Sutton Coldfield
In our recent commercial salon interior design in the Midlands, we designed a hair salon, sunbed room, café and private therapy rooms with luxe details like mood lighting, organic curves, and natural finishes - all in one unified space.

4. Out & About: Recent Design Events
We’re strong believers in staying inspired and connected within the design industry. Over the last few weeks, we’ve been busy at some standout events, most notably:
Clerkenwell Design Week
A three-day festival filled with showroom visits, product launches, and trend forecasting that’s helping us shape the design direction and material specification for current client briefs. Modular workspace furniture, biophilic-forward design and colour rich supplier collaborations caught our eye.
"Designing and Expanding in the Middle East"
Design Leaders Talk from Business and Interiors at the Minotti London Showroom. Insightful and candid conversations from the panel and a great chance to chat with other designers and suppliers during the networking breakfast.
Material Lab London
A helpful visit to this impressive resource hub in central London featuring thousands of samples across tiles, panels, wall coverings, fixtures and more. We picked up some tiles and wall coverings to specify in two of our current hospitality projects, thanks to the help of the lovely team!
